Sculptural Seating
A rounded shell that holds the body like a held breath.
The Aurelia is a study in enclosure, a continuous curve of upholstery resting on four hand-turned walnut legs, each finished with a cast brass sabot.
Every piece can be adapted in size, material and finish.
The frame is shaped from solid beech, hand-sprung and upholstered over three days. Legs are turned individually, so no two carry exactly the same profile.
Drawn from the gentle arc of an Ottoman reading chair, re-proportioned for a contemporary room.
